“ This was a rather surreal experience. Sure, it was a Thursday night, 7:30 or so. But the parking lot was empty. Bomb cyclone? It has been raining a lot, but I seriously wondered if they were really open as I approached the door. The restaurant was empty. I was literally the only customer. Hostess at the empty main floor asked if I wanted to go upstairs. The main floor was completely empty. I went upstairs. It was completely empty as well. Needless to say, the service was very attentive. Ordered a salad, steak, baked potato along with a martini. No, it isn't an a la cart menus, I just asked for them to leave the sautéed veggies off. The salad was fresh and mostly spinach. Balsamic vinaigrette was on the side. I'm not usually much of a ribeye fan. But they cooked this steak perfectly. I had asked for a baked potato with everything. Everything apparently amounts to butter and sour cream. Overall, a satisfying meal. Super strange circumstance. ”

“ This is probably where you should eat in Crescent City. We had breakfast - the small huevos rancheros for me and buckwheat pancakes, eggs, and sausage for my bf. A sm/lg option on a breakfast item is amazing. The food was delicious. The menu expansive. Everything was clean - menu, salt & pepper shakers, etc. It shows that the employees care. Oh, and we shared a pitcher of beer! ”

“ Friendly service and good portions overall. The fish tacos had a generous amount of fish and toppings, but the batter wasn't crispy at all. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it made the taco lack the textural contrast I was hoping for. On the bright side, the soups were tasty, and the service was quick and attentive. ”

“ We come early so no other customers. They served the food fast. Loves the service . The egg benedict and the chicken fried steak so good! Their portion is big enough for 2 serving. I shared the food with my kid. Nice decoration inside too. Good breakfast to start your day! ”

“ Great food, generous portions and friendly service. We were quite surprised by what a pleasant experience this was. We were not expecting much but the clam chowder was delicious and especially the crispy flavorful garlic bread that came with it. And the seafood sampler was huge, with big giant shrimp, huge oyster and calamari pieces, and nice cod, it was just excellent. This place is really worth a stop. Oh and the beer on tap was cold, refreshing and had great flavor too, all in all a real surprise and treat! ”
